YesEarth Campus Ambassadors are an integral part of YesEarth Green Campus Program and will serve as representatives, leading sustainability initiatives within their educational institutions and communities. They will spearhead awareness campaigns, organize eco-friendly events, conduct energy, water, and waste audits, and collaborate with university departments to drive green projects. Campus Ambassadors will also foster partnerships and promote sustainability through social media and community engagement.
Eligibility: Any student who is currently enrolled in any stream of Graduation or above
Here are some key engagement tasks to be undertaken:
- Awareness Campaigns:
- Organize awareness drives within your campus about sustainability, climate change, and eco-friendly practices.
- Coordinate events such as workshops, webinars, or talks with experts in sustainable development.
- Project Initiatives:
- Lead energy, water, and waste audits within your campus with the support of the YesEarth team.
- Collaborate with university departments and student groups for green initiatives like tree plantations, composting programs, or clean-up drives.
- Social Media Advocacy:
- Promote YesEarth Green Campus activities through personal and campus social media channels.
- Share engaging content about sustainability, eco-friendly practices, and environmental campaigns regularly.
- Sustainability Clubs:
- Set up or work with existing eco-clubs to encourage student involvement in sustainability initiatives.
- Organize regular meetings to discuss ongoing projects and opportunities for environmental improvements.
- Networking and Partnerships:
- Establish connections with local environmental organizations, businesses, and authorities to collaborate on green initiatives.
- Represent YesEarth Green Campus in external campus activities like fairs, exhibitions, or community engagements.
- Volunteer Engagement:
- Recruit and manage volunteers for various green campus initiatives.
- Guide and motivate students to participate in eco-audits, events, and awareness programs.
- Reporting and Feedback:
- Provide regular updates and feedback on campus engagement activities to YesEarth.
- Submit reports on the progress of sustainability projects and the impact on the campus community.
- Research and Development:
- Collaborate with faculty and students to initiate or support research projects related to renewable energy, waste management, or climate resilience.
- Gather data from audits and activities for analysis and further action planning.

Terms and Conditions for Receiving Certificates
As a Campus Ambassador for the YesEarth Green Campus Program, certificates will be awarded upon meeting the following conditions:
- Minimum Tenure:
- A minimum of 3 months active engagement as a Campus Ambassador is required to qualify for the certificate.
- Task Completion:
- Active participation in key engagement tasks, including Awareness Campaigns, Project Initiatives, and Social Media Advocacy as outlined in the program.
- Successful organization of at least one sustainability-related event such as webinars, workshops, or campus audits during the tenure.
- Volunteer Engagement:
- Recruitment and management of volunteers for green campus initiatives, along with participation in at least one volunteer-led activity.
- Reporting:
- Timely submission of monthly progress reports detailing initiatives, volunteer engagement, and sustainability outcomes.
- Social Media Activity:
- Consistent promotion of YesEarth Green Campus activities via social media channels with at least 5 sustainability-related posts during the tenure.
- Collaboration:
- Establishing at least one partnership or collaboration with student clubs, local environmental organizations, or authorities.
- Feedback and Communication:
- Providing feedback on the program, offering suggestions for improvement, and maintaining consistent communication with the YesEarth team.
- Attendance:
- Participation in all scheduled meetings, webinars, or training sessions organized by YesEarth Green Campus.
Termination or Disqualification
- Failure to meet these requirements or any breach of conduct may result in disqualification from receiving the certificate.
